Final schedule ICMP12 and practical info
Please check the online
version of the program. It will be regularly updated.
A sheet containing some general practical information
about Denmark and a map with a few lunch spots around the conference venue (AKKC) can be
downloaded from here.
Inside AKKC you can find Papegøjehaven, very
convenient for a quick lunch. It will provide sandwiches for lunch
on August 3-4 and August 6-10, at a price of 45 DKK (approximately
6 EUR). On Sunday, August 5, there will be possible to buy a
sandwich for dinner (after the reception). On Monday, August 6, the
Congress Center will arrange dinner at a price of 150 DKK
(approximately 20 EUR).
If you cross the park situated between AKKC and the
railway-station (5 minute walk), you arrive at John F. Kennedysplads. Inside the
building Kennedy Arkaden you
can find Sunset
Boulevard where you can buy sandwiches, and the restaurant Cafe Visa, where you can eat
both lunch and dinner at moderate prices.
If you arrive at Boulevarden,
then you may try Cafe Luna
(7 minute walk). Not expensive, open seven days a week.
Further down Boulevarden, at the crossing with Danmarksgade ,
there is another restaurant which is open the whole week: Cafe Spiret (10 minute
walk). Across the street there is a fast-food restaurant
called Spicy. Next to Spicy there is a popular place suggestively
called Nadia's
Salatbar.
Further down towards the fjord (15 minute walk) there is Duus Vinkælder, open for
lunch and dinner but closed on Sunday. McDonalds and Burger King
are meters away form Duus.
Moreover, at this address http://map.krak.dk/m/94nQX
you may find complete information about more than 100 restaurants
in the downtown area, all in a walking range from the conference
venue.
